triple aperture

The triple aperture camera was constructed in 1984. It utilized three apertures of varying focal lengths. Using the triple aperture camera on it’s side, the horizontal format made reference to panoramic photographs. The idea of a series of bridges resulted. As with all of my cameras there is no view finder. I began to play a game with the triple aperture, trying to combine bridges found in different locations.

In the photograph “Fort Brag”, you can see the distortion along the edges of the image. This was caused by cutting the paper negative too large and folding it into the corners creating a three-dimensional negative.
