Pseudo Astro-photography in my studio:
Although in the past when constructing cameras I recognized intentional light leaks could be interesting, it wasn't until the black hole series that I exploited the concept to this degree. The cameras were constructed from styrofoam packing material. When painting the inside of the cameras black, I was careful to leave selected areas uncovered, thus controlling the light leaks.
