The lead camera series was produced using the lostwax casting method.

Most of them were not functional as their interiors were either solid or inaccessible. A friend of mine who was a professional photographer, teased me about my low-tech cameras. He had an aluminum case with a foam lining to transport and protect his expensive photographic equipment.

Using my aunt’s 1940’s suitcase and some old discolored foam, I assembled this piece.
 
The suitcase weighs 44 pounds.
